This rope guide is for a Demag DH300 series true vertical lift hoist. There are two rope guides on the drum of this hoist, one left hand and one right hand.
This rope guide is precision machined from zinc-aluminum alloy and stainless-steel parts, while the original Demag DH series rope guides are made from nylon plastic. You’ll find these after-market rope guides are more durable and hold up considerably well to the rigours of continuous and heavy lifting.
When manufacturing this rope guide, we first cast it from zinc-aluminum alloy. Once cast, the rope guide is machined to be compatible with the original equipment manufacturer’s exact dimensions, and will meet or exceed the OEM rope guide’s design specifications.
Also, our rope guides can be adjusted to perfectly fit your hoist’s drum, and as the rope guide wears, you can continually readjust the rope guide to prolong its life.
Our own field tests have shown that our metal zinc-aluminum rope guides will give you on average 2.16 times the working life when compared to an original plastic rope guide.
