Specifically designed for chain hoists, these load limiters operate by shutting off power to the up direction of the hoist, forcing you to bring the load down.
Any qualified crane technician can easily install a chain hoist load limiter, simply attach the load limiter between the top of your hoist and the trolly. The limiter will detect the capacity of your lift and force you to safely bring the load down if it exceeds its calibrated capacity.
